Who ate the cake???
Ever since Jeremy left for training I have been very busy packing the kids & my stuff for our trip to North Carolina. I decided to make a cake to take with us to snack on. When it was done baking I put it on the cooling rack and went into the bathroom to pack medicines. I went into the kitchen to get a ziplock bag and noticed someone had eaten part of the cake. I yelled to the kids "who ate some of the cake?" They came running and as soon as I saw the surprised look on their faces it occurred to me, it wasn't the kids it was the dog!!!! A few minutes earlier as I was packing she came into my room licking her lips. I just thought she had eaten her food but obviously she was busy tasting the cake I made. I worked too hard on that cake and the kids had been so excited to have some so I decided to just cut off the part she had eaten off of. They say a dogs mouth is cleaner than ours anyway right!? Haha!
