Friendship

I'm learning as I get older a lot about true friendships. I have lost some friendships along the way but have gained some great ones too. I truely believe things happen for a reason! If a friend and I have an arguement I hope we can work things out but if we can not maybe the reason is I have something to learn from the situation. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated and at times I do not get from people what I would want from a friend. I realized that sometimes I am too trusting and share too much information with people. I just like to talk and share with people but unfortunately some people use information against you or for their own gain. I am by no means a perfect friend, I am learning as I go. I care about people and want to be there for them but don't always know how to express my feelings in the best way. Sometimes when I am upset I keep my feelings inside and after awhile they build up. When I try to talk to that person they come out wrong and in an angry way sometimes which makes the situation worse. I try to let the little things go but it's easier said then done. I value my friends and love them. I appreciate everything they do for me and the time we have together. If my path crosses with someone I am no longer friends with, maybe it will be a better time for us then before or maybe we will be thankful for the time we had and realize we are better off not friends. Either way I appreciate the real friendships I have and will cherish my memories forever.
