First Father & Daughter Dance

Friday Jeremy took Natalie to the Father & Daughter dance. Before they left I had to take some pictures of them, they looked so good! I had to hand the camera over to Jeremy because I wouldn't be there to take pictures. When he got home and I looked at the pictures I was really sad he didn't take that many but mostly there was no picture of them together. He told me they had their picture taken at the dance and I received it from the school a few days later. They said they had fun at their first Father & Daughter dance! Wow my baby girl is a big girl now!

Fall Soccer

This fall I decided to coach Natalie again since it would be her last time before she moved up to the next age group & I also thought it would be fun to see the kids I coached in the spring again. I got a lot of new kids but still had lots of fun getting to know their personalities. We had two games a week & at the end had a party where I gave the kids their trophies & certificates. I was sad I wasn't going to see the kids again & started crying at the end of the party. The kids ran over to give me a big group hug which I loved. I was blessed to have such sweet kids.

Matthew also played but I just didn't get to many pictures of him. We got so wrapped up in the games that I forgot. LOL He had a good coach and he played better than he ever has. They had a bowling party also. Matt had a great time hanging out with his team mates. I really love watching both the kids play soccer!

Pumpkin Patch

Every year we go to the Belmont Pumpkin Farm. The kids love it, they always have so much to do. This year we waited to the last weekend and went a day after it had rained so it was a little soggy but it was still fun. We checked out the animals first, goats, pigs, sheep, bunnies, turkeys etc. The farm has signs up all over with little known facts. The kids really enjoyed reading them and trying to guess the answers. Like a chicken lays only 1 egg a day! I can't believe that.

Next we went on the hay ride that took us out to the pumpkin patch. The kids were running all over trying to pick the perfect pumpkin. Once we found a few we headed back to paint them. While the paint dried the kids got their face painted & played. My camera battery was dying so I didn't get that many pictures I'm sad to say. Also the kids enjoyed playing with the farms dog. It was a great day, any day we are all together it is for sure! The kids had a great time & really enjoyed their pumpkin cookies from the farm later that night.

Halloween

Thursday October 25th Matthew had cub scouts. All the kids dressed in their costumes, they went around to each room where they played games & received candy. They even had a donut eating contest. Matt did good but didn't win. Natalie, little baby girl took one bite and could barely chew it. They had a good time, it was nice. We like this new pack, they do so much more for the kids.

Friday night we had a halloween party. The kids each invited their friends from soccer & school. The house was packed, I made tons of food & we decorated the house. We started with the kids making mummys with craft sticks, muslim & glue dots. It was harder than it looked but fun. Next it was time to eat. I made mummy dogs, english mummies, rice krispy treats, party mix, dirt pudding that looked like a graveyard & we had punch (it was green & I put it in a cauldron). After everyone ate I lined up the kids and had them play a ball toss. Everyone had a great time, I think Matthew & Natalie enjoyed themselves.

Natalie goes to dance on Monday's, ballet & tap. She wore her costume to class and posed with a friend. Tuesday night I took the kids to Chick-fil-a where they were having a halloween celebration. My brother was dressed as a shark eating a diver. They had a costume contest, face paintings, balloon lady & free food for the kids. It was a great time!

Wednesday night we took the kids trick or treating with some friends of ours. All the kids are friends and it was much more fun going in a group. A few of my friends dressed up too, they looked so cute. The kids got tons of candy and it was a great night. Mostly it was great because Jeremy was able to get off work to meet us. We didn't think he would. Every year goes by so quick so I try to really treasure this time, while they are little. I love the kids so much! I'm so lucky to have such beautiful, smart children. We have a wonderful family, the four of us. I love them all so much.
