I met Ashlee Simpson!
Last night I went with my friend Erin to the Ashlee Simpson concert. I love Ashlee, I went to her concert here last October. She is a great live performer. I took tons of pictures of course so here's a few. It was fun to get out one night and just hang with a friend. Erin and I got to the concert early and a guy comes up and asks us if we want to buy 2nd row seat tickets, he won them on the radio and doesn't want them. We already had tickets but offered him a little money for both tickets which he took so we got GREAT seats! We were suppose to sit on the lawn, way in the back. So then a radio station has us fill out entry forms to meet Ashlee and they drew 10 winners. Long story short some people were not present when they did the drawing so they kept pulling names and my friend Erin was the last name they called. Each winner gets to take one person so I got to MEET ASHLEE SIMPSON! Unfortunately we couldn't take pictures with her because she had her stage makeup on already but we did get her autograph and got to talk to her for a few minutes. Wow, that was great. Then when she was on stage she kept coming over to the side of the stage we were on and waved at us once. It was a good time and her band was good too. I definitely want to go to see her if she comes back again. Next time I will have to take Natalie because she was a little upset Matthew got to go in October. She doesn't know I went last night, a girls gotta have some adult time ya know?!

Father's Day
For Father's day we took Jeremy to Cheddars for lunch after church. I took some good pictures of Jer with the kids (of course there was some goofing off which made some good pictures too) and then he was off to work on the house. Hey he had to break in those father's day gifts right?! Haha, he wanted tools so that's what he got.

Natalie's gymnastics recital
Natalie loves gymnastics so she takes lessons at a gym in our area. They have sessions that are usually 8 weeks long. She's been in like 5 sessions now. Friday they had a recital,the theme was the 50's. Natalie was so cute holding her flowers and balloon in front of the stage area. For the finale each class did a bow (she's at the far left) and their teacher is in the blue shirt.

Lacy's 12 weeks old!
Our puppy Lacy is getting so big. It's hard to tell because we see her everyday but when we pick her up we are like "man your getting big dog!" Haha. Here's some good pictures of her taken June 10th.
In this picture Jeremy is playing with Lacy. He was holding a piece of wood because we were talking about our plans for the laundry room closet and he was showing me how he plans on fixing it. I took the puppy outside and started taking pics of her but couldn't get her to sit still...go figure! So he was trying to help distract her. Later I showed him the picture and told him it looks like he's threatening her with it...haha.

Matthew's first dance!
Friday June 9th Matthew's school had a dance for the kids from 3 to 5:30 to celebrate the school year. I tried to get some pictures of Matthew but he kept running from me and turned it into a game. Finally after awhile he started hanging out with his friends and danced some so I got a few good ones.

Matthew's 7!
Natalie & I went to Matthew's school to take cupcakes so he could celebrate his birthday with his classmates. He was happy we came and he liked them. Here's a picture of me and Matthew since there were none taken yesterday at the party. My little boy is growing up!
One of the presents Matthew got was a costume of a character named Thing from the Fantastic 4 movie. He tried it on today and was having fun posing in it. Isn't he funny?!

Matthew's 7th birthday party
Matthew had his 7th birthday party at an indoor pool today. He had friends from school and from his soccer team join him for 3 hours of fun. They played in the pool for the first two hours, then we all went into the party area for cake, ice cream and presents for the last hour. Here's a little video of Matthew being silly in the pool.
Natalie likes to play with this toy in the shallow end, she had a good time.

Kids, Pool, Puppy, what a combo!
Sunday May 28th Jeremy decided to set the elmo sprinkler out for the kids. We didn't expect Lacy to start playing in it. She would try to bite the water, it was so fun to watch. After awhile Jeremy pulled out the kids little wading pool and Lacy jumped right in with them. She loves water apparently!
