First time blogger!

I'm a first time blogger, yes it's true! Welcome to our blog where you can read about our family and all the MANY things we have going on. Matthew is now 6 years old and in the first grade. He loves to play soccer, he is on the Panthers. Natalie's 4 and very active. She does gymnastics and plays soccer for the Katydids. They are growing up so fast, I wish it would slow down.
Friday I took the kids to see the Easter bunny and to get their picture taken. I took some pictures of them in front of the scenery they had set up too so here's the best one I think. Saturday we went to the children's festival. It was nice but HOT! Grandma & Papa from Texas (Jeremy's parents) came to visit and arrived Saturday evening. The kids were so excited and have enjoyed all the time and attention with them. Yesterday was Easter and it was very busy. The kids woke up and opened their baskets from the Easter bunny. We went to church and to Nana's for a bit to visit. Later we dyed eggs and had a nice homemade dinner, ham, mashed potatoes and green beans. Our babysitter and friend Denae joined us for dinner, it was so nice! Today is the first day of spring break but it rained hard all day so we stayed home. We have plans to go to the Easter Egg hunt tomorrow at our church because it was rescheduled from last Saturday due to rain. We are planning on going to Busch Gardens Wednesday also.
Natalie can now write her name and "Matt." She LOVES to draw, to write and she LOVES horses. Matthew LOVES dinosaurs still and anything to do with them. He is doing well in school, he's very smart. They have a program at his school called Accellerated Reader; his teacher tells me he has the highest score of the first grade, he's reading on fourth grade level now. Natalie is excited about school, hoping she can start in the fall. It's going to be a busy summer I can see already. The kids have alot of energy! We are going to Las Vegas in May for our triplet nephews birthday but the kids don't know and will be so excited when they find out. We can't wait, we miss them and their parents VERY much! We do need a vacation, things have been so busy it will be nice to have a break. Hopefully the weather will be nice the rest of this week so we can get out and enjoy it and the kids can run off their energy.
